What are the specific dimensions of Flow 2?

Hello! The dimensions for Flow 2 are as follows:
· Base station (with water tank): 360*450*530mm
· Slim base station (with Auto Refill & Drainage System ): 410*433*281mm
· Robot: 363.5*351.2*9

What is the cleaning time of the Flow 2?

What is the replacement cycle for Flow 2 consumables?

The countdown for consumable usage is based on the reasonable service life determined through testing for different types of consumables, so the duration varies by consumable type. The reset times for consumables are as follows:
· Disposable dust bag (pet‑free households): 120 days
· Disposable dust bag (pet‑owning households): 90 days
Note: The pet‑owning household setting can be found under General Settings in the app.
· Anti‑tangle silent roller brush: 6 months
· Track‑style mop pad: It is recommended to replace every 1–3 months
· Side brush: 3 months
· Replaceable cleaning filter in the base station: 3 months
Remarks: Based on the latest information displayed in the app.

Does the Flow 2 feature base station self‑cleaning?

The base station self‑cleaning function is automatically performed during operation, with the following behaviors:
· When the base station is washing the mop pad, it collects lint or other debris that cannot be drained away onto the filter screen, preventing clogging of the drain outlet. The replaceable design also makes base station maintenance more convenient. For routine maintenance, the filter screen can be replaced to minimize residual debris in the cleaning base, making cleaning easier.
· After the mopping task is completed, the robot activates the fan during its return to the base station to suck up debris around the base station and on the ramp pad.

Can Flow 2 clean carpets?

Flow 2 features four dedicated carpet cleaning modes and offers deep carpet cleaning, allowing it to reach deep into carpet fibers to remove dust from crevices without wetting the carpet, ensuring a more thorough clean. Here’s how it works for your reference:
1. Upon detecting carpet, the mop pad automatically lifts to prevent it from wetting the carpet.
2. As the robot moves forward, it relies on its binocular vision to identify obstacles on the carpet while cleaning. A pressure‑assisted cover plate is added at the roller brush inlet; once the carpet is detected, the cover plate automatically presses down to enhance the seal and suction efficiency at the brush opening, reducing air leakage. Meanwhile, the fan motor speed increases to boost airflow. The combination of these two effects results in greater suction power and cleaning efficiency.
3. After completing the first pass, the robot performs a second pass over the carpet in a reverse zigzag pattern. The roller brush rotates in the opposite direction to ruffle the carpet fibers, dislodging any residual debris trapped beneath them, achieving a deeper level of cleaning.

Exceptional Cleaning Performance with Some Map Editing Limitations

Quick Facts:PRIMARY FUNCTION: Robot Vacuum and Mop ComboFLOOR TYPES TESTED: Carpet & Vinyl PlankMAPPING SYSTEM: AI Object Recognition & Manual Map EditingMOPPING SYSTEM: FlowWash Belt-Style MopI ordered this robot vacuum and mop combo to replace an older robot vacuum from another brand. My primary reason for wanting an upgrade was that the brush roll on my old unit tangled frequently, so the tangle-free claim was very appealing. First, let me say that I love this robot vacuum, in spite of some opportunities for improvement which I'll describe in a moment.Initial setup was quick and intuitive, although I did have difficulty figuring out where the vacuum bag and the cleaning solution reservoir were located because they were hidden under the two water tanks.Mapping required some patience. The initial mapping took longer than expected because the robot does not recognize door frames or floor transitions as room separations. Re-running the mapping process re-creates the map from scratch rather than refining it, so I had to run remapping 3 times before getting a map good enough to edit manually. The map editing screen does not show past landmarks, table legs, or obstacles, showing only floor material instead. This makes placing no-go zones accurately quite difficult when the unit gets stuck. For example, my unit repeatedly gets stuck in the bathroom trying to climb over the shower threshold or baseboard from a spongy bath mat. Because the map editor does not show where it got stuck or display the shower door frame, figuring out where to place a no-go zone or virtual wall is a frustrating cycle of trial and error. If it would show where it got stuck or mark the shower door frame, this would be an easy task. Most of these mapping quirks are common to robot vacuums, except for the lack of identified landmarks on the map editing screen, which my older and cheaper robots included.Once the map was set, the cleaning performance really shined. The suction power cleaned my carpet much more thoroughly than my previous robot, and cleaning on my vinyl flooring was astoundingly better thanks to the higher suction and the belt-style mop compared to the old spinning disk design. In daily operation, navigation and obstacle avoidance work well; it avoids power cords reliably and reports the obstacles it detects. The object identification is excellent, and it even helped me locate a shoe that I thought was lost because it was hiding under the bed. That, in combination with the Freo AI cleaning mode, allows it to adapt to the condition of the floor surface, so I do not have to force it to do a more thorough cleaning periodically. Instead, it decides when extra attention is needed.I very much appreciate that it includes a vacuum-then-mop feature. My wife likes to bake but she is never neat about it, so thoroughly vacuuming up flour before mopping prevents a sticky mess from being created. I should also mention that it is significantly quieter than my old robot. The old one could not be run when we were sleeping because it would wake my wife, but we have this one doing a few rooms at 1:00 AM.Regarding the tangle-free claim, long dog hair still gets caught on the outer edge of the brush roll, forming a dense wad of hair that requires manual removal. This maintenance frequency is about the same as my old robot, but instead of locking up and stopping, this unit makes a distinct thumping sound that lets me know a hair clump needs to be removed.Dock operation for emptying and refilling is nearly identical to my previous unit. However, the dirty water tank does not produce the horrible smell my old dock had, which is likely due to the mop drying and sanitizing features or perhaps the use of cleaning solution. Incidentally, one of the videos on the product listing says that if you move the dock, then you need to re-run the mapping. This is not true. I relocated the dock with the robot in it and told it to clean. Watching the map I could see that in seconds, it had identified that the dock was moved and changed its position on the map.The app is fairly easy to navigate once you get used to it, except for the map editing issues I already mentioned.I was very disappointed that integrating it with Home Assistant via Matter was a complete failure, as I was unable to pair it after several attempts. Nevertheless, there is a HACS integration that works very well. Given that this is a very new model, and considering Narwal's reputation, I am optimistic that the Matter integration and some of the other quirks will be resolved with software and firmware updates soon. Although it is a pricey unit, the cleaning results make it a reasonable value.Positives:? Exceptional suction on carpet and vinyl flooring? Quiet operation allows overnight cleaning? Belt-style mop performs significantly better than spinning disks? Effective cord avoidance and obstacle reporting? Dock drying feature prevents dirty water tank odors? A new best friend

I debated getting a new robotic vacuum since I already owned a Roborock. I could no longer justify having to make preparations ahead of time before beginning a cleaning session with my existing unit. This involved *steam cleaning* my hardwood floors and crouching to reach underneath kitchen cabinets and tight corners. It was time to admit that the extravagant vacuum that I thought would last forever now needed replacing. After researching with AI the Narwal Flow 2 came highly recommended. I learned that all the prep work that I had struggled with was something that was part of the regular cleaning of this new system. Imagine that. Not only has the Narwal Flow 2 given me back my floors after years of trapped debris leftover from a finished cleaning job but I have my life back and a system that actually does what it鈥檚 supposed to. I assumed that this new vacuum would involve serious maintenance and cleaning. It took days to clean my Roborock and I would spend entire afternoons taking it apart to deep clean all the crevices that I assumed were the reason for the vacuum鈥檚 subpar performance. The water containers cleaning solution compartment and ingenious docking system completely replaced the chores that I was so accustomed to doing. Now I simply had to empty the dirty water and fill up another reservoir with clean water. An occasional wipe down and quick rinse of the water filters was so unexpectedly simple. To say that I love my Narwal would be an understatement. I am in love with it!

Insanely good robot vacuum/mop

This is hands down the most impressive robot vacuum and mop I have ever used, and I have tested a lot of them! My first experience with NARWAL, and it absolutely will not be my last. The build quality is just outstanding. The whole thing feels incredibly premium, really heavy duty and solid, like it was just engineered to a completely different standard than anything else I have used. I will note it is noticeably heavier than other robots I have handled, which is not a dealbreaker at all, just something worth knowing. The intelligence on this thing is just insane. It avoids obstacles better than any robot I have tested, and I genuinely do not know how they packed this much technology into it. The dual AI camera system recognizes actual household objects in real time and adjusts its path accordingly, it is just really impressive to watch. One feature I particularly love is that it processes all its AI data locally and does NOT upload it, which I think is a really thoughtful and appreciated privacy consideration that not enough smart home devices think about. The suction power is also just incredible at 31,000Pa. It picks up all of my cat litter and cat hair without any issues whatsoever. The FlowWash mopping system is also a really impressive piece of engineering, continuously cleaning with fresh water rather than spreading dirty water around, which has always been my biggest complaint with robot mops.Price-wise, at $1,099.99 with the coupon it is a significant investment, but for the most advanced and capable robot vacuum and mop I have ever used, it genuinely feels worth it.

Corgi approved. Works well with pet household!

Better than Dyson for pet households. I bought the Dyson robot mop vac. I returned it 2 months later. It was a miss. So bought the Narwal this isn’t going back at all. It is fantastic for pet households. We have 3 Corgi and it handles the dog hair with ease!
